Hello there, we're Find-a-Paint.com: a web-based paint matching application designed primarily to match users with the closest paint match to the colour they specify. For the purposes of these Terms, 'we' or 'our' shall refer to Find-a-Paint.com (COMPANY NUMBER: XXXX). Registered and incorporated in England and Wales. 'You' or 'your' shall refer to the reader of these Terms in your capacity as a user of our site.

Acceptance of these Terms:

By using our website, you are impliedly taken to agree to these Terms.

Accuracy of Matches:

Our software has been tailored to provide the closest available paint colour from our database. However, it does just that; match to the colour you provide. We therefore cannot be liable for any inaccuracies in the user’s colour selection which result in an undesirable shade being purchased and any subsequent cost incurred by you.

In accepting these Terms and using our application, you acknowledge that there may be inherent inaccuracies in the way you specify a colour to our matching algorithm.

Our Partners:

Unless stated otherwise, any reference to our 'Partners' or 'Supported Brands' does not indicate an affiliation, formal or otherwise, with any organisation mentioned. Any representations made are our own and any representations made by any organisation referenced on our site, whether or not explicitly quoted on our site, are not our own or held by us. For organisation-specific relations, we recommend you contact the respective organisation directly for the best resolution.

Statutory Rights:

As a consumer in the United Kingdom, you are privileged to certain statutory rights that protect your contractual position as a buyer. In the event you are not happy with the product purchased after being referred to by our site, you may be entitled to a refund. You must note, however, that the retailer of the product would be liable in this instance. We ourselves are not legally classified as a retailer, therefore any request for refunds must be referred to the retailer from which the faulty or dissatisfactory product was purchased.

Follow-through Links:

It must be noted that we do not act as a price-comparison website. Therefore we do not attempt to source the best price for the product you are matched with. The follow-through link associated with the product you are matched with redirects, wherever possible, to the website of the manufacturer of that product. We therefore are not liable to honour a lower price you may find for your match from a different retailer, neither is the retailer to whom you are directed.
